Derbyshire Hockey has opportunities for Level 1 and Level 2 coaches at Derbyshire Academy Centres, starting at the beginning of September 2024. Training is based at Shobnall LC.

Our Academy Centre runs from September to early May and will comprise approx. 8 training sessions, and 3 competitions, against other Midland Counties, all usually held on Sundays. 
Academy age groups will be U13, U14, U15, U16 and U17, for both boys and girls.
Lead coaches should be qualified to L2, or equivalent. Assistant coaches should be qualified to L1, or equivalent. First Aid and Safeguarding certificates will also be required.

Location: Derbyshire. Training is based at Shobnall LC.
Salary: Lead Coach £20/hr, Assistant Coach £10/hr

Dates: There will be approximately 6 AC dates before Christmas, a combination of training and fixtures against other counties.

Training sessions are 1.5 hrs per age group, at The Ellis Astro, Shobnall LC.

Dates for competition are set by the Midlands Competitions Committee

There will be more training dates, ~3 more dev comps and a Midlands final tournament between January and May. Dates will be set by Midlands Competitions Committeeand in line with EH Centralised Calendar.
