SCHEDULE:

BOYS: Both pitches will be available from 10am in the morning if the boys teams wish to use this time to practice.

GIRLS: Both pitches will be available from 12:45pm in the morning if the girls teams wish to use this time to practice.

Matches will be 15 mins each way, 10 mins half time, where they then move to the other mini pitch and swap to play the opposing team. This then allows 10 mins between change over matches.

DIRECTIONS

The address is Malvern College Court Road Playing Fields. The post code parents should use is WR14 3PN (not the school post code). Please find attached the school maps which will help with directions to Malvern, the school and the sports fields. Unfortunately, the school fields map doesn’t have the water based but parents should make their way to the astro turf which is signposted. There is limited signage to the playing fields off court road (the entrance is a dirt track opposite Thirlstane road alongside Qinetic building).

PARKING

There is limited parking alongside the astro turf and in order to maintain access for emergency vehicles, parents are requested to park alongside Pitch B on the playing fields map. They must be prepared to be asked to move their car to ensure the safety of players and emergency access is maintained throughout the tournament. Due to the limited parking parents may find that the girls will have limited access to spaces until the boys competition fully clears. Therefore teams are encouraged to make their meet times no earlier than 12:30pm.

CHANGING AND REFRESHMENTS

There are two changing rooms and toilet facilities in the portacabin next to the astro turf. There is limited space so teams will need to share.  Teams may wish to meet at the sports centre (see school map Building 15) where there is a Starbucks and spectator toilets. Teams will not be allowed to commandeer the dry changing rooms. Teams may wish to leave cars at the car park by building 18 and join together to get to the pitch. There is access for coaches, but they need to be parked just outside the field entrance alongside the Qinetic building. 

SPECTATORS

There is limited shelter for spectators and players so please dress and prepare for the weather accordingly. Parents will not be allowed to enter the pitches and will be asked to remain in the designated spectator areas. 

WARM UP

Due to the U15 girls’ competition taking place directly before the U15 boys’. The girls’ teams are asked to warm up in the warm up areas provided. This will allow a smooth transition between tournaments and help the first girls match start at 1:00pm promptly. However, it is requested that players are supervised by an adult at all times. Spectating children are not allowed to use these areas to play in.

LITTER

It is expected that all teams place their litter in the bins provided at the venue. These are not designed to hold large amounts of rubbish and therefore we would be grateful if teams could take as much of their rubbish home with them as possible.

REFRESHMENTS

There are limited facilities to have refreshments at the fields but we will provide a bag with a selection of snacks for each team to share out amongst themselves. 

KIT

Worcestershire play in sky blue tops and hooped socks. Can teams please bring white shirts as alternatives in the case of a clash. Second named team are to change in the event of a clash.
